Honeybird Whisky Essence 50 ml

Three bottles of bold whiskey from one small bottle of essence. The 50 ml size is for those who already know they like the powerful style and want a rather larger supply of it at home.

Flavour Profile

Dark amber in colour and full-bodied. The nose offers burnt caramel, vanilla, cinnamon and heavily toasted oak. The palate is oily and spicy with butter toffee, black pepper, orange peel and dark chocolate, closing long, dry and warming with charred oak and tobacco. No smoke and no noticeable sweetness.

How to Use

Mix with vodka or neutral spirit. 50 ml makes 2.25 litres of finished spirit. Instructions are on the label.

Serving Suggestions

• In a short glass with one large ice cube.
• Stirred with red vermouth, bitters and a cocktail cherry.
• A Whiskey Sour in which the spice squares up to the sharpness of the lemon.
• A splash in a peppercorn sauce or barbecue glaze.
