Complete yeast nutrients for alcohol fermentation
FOR ALL YEAST STRAINS
Enhances flavor, provides cleaner fermentation with better taste, and allows you to ferment to dryness. This is a nutrient blend containing all the micro and macro nutrients that yeast needs during alcohol fermentation. The dosage will vary depending on the amount of nutrients present in the raw material, stress from raw materials, and the alcohol percentage you are fermenting to. Recommended dosage for different fermentation systems:
Mash from sugar (sucrose) 14% alcohol 2 grams/liter
Mash from sugar 18% alcohol 3 grams/liter
Mash from dextrose 21% alcohol 3.5 grams/liter
Mash from sugarcane max. 1.7 grams/liter. 1 Mash from molasses max 12% 1.7 grams/liter
Wine from fruit 12-14% alcohol 0.40-0.80 g/liter (depending on the proportion of fruit in the must)
Wine from fruit 18% 1-2 grams/liter (depending on the proportion of fruit concentrate in the must)
12-14 % 0.40-0.80 grams/liter (depending on the proportion of concentrate in the must)
Wine from grape concentrate 18 % 1-2 grams/liter (depending on the proportion of fruit in the must)
Wine from pressed grapes 12-14%, up to 0.5 grams/liter depending on the nutritional value in the grape must)
Wine from pressed grapes 18% up to 1 gram/liter (depending on the nutritional value of the grape must)
Cider 5% 0.15-0.30 grams/liter (depending on the proportion of fruit/concentrate in the must)
Mead 18 % 2-2.5 grams/liter
Beer not recommended for use in beer
Whiskey and whisky depend on the substrate; if 100% grain, no addition - if 50% grain/50% sugar, up to 1 gram/liter
