    UP Sour Mash Whisky Essence turns neutral spirit or vodka into a silky corn whiskey with notes of vanilla, butter toffee, banana and charred oak.

    One litre of essence makes 53 bottles of 700 ml or 50 bottles of 750 ml – 37.5 litres of finished spirit in total. Instructions are on the label.

    As good in a mixed drink as it is neat over ice – and excellent as a flavouring for cooking and baking.

    The litre bottle is the choice for those who mix often and in quantity: larger gatherings, clubs, events, or anyone who simply wants the lowest possible cost per bottle. 37.5 litres of finished whiskey, contained in a pack that fits on a single shelf.

    Flavour Profile

    The result is a golden-brown, mellow whiskey with a sweet nose of vanilla, caramel and ripe fruit. On the tongue come brown sugar, corn and banana bread, tightened up by toasted oak and a touch of sootiness. The finish is long enough to savour, yet free from smoke or bitterness.

    How to Use

    Mix with vodka or neutral spirit. 1000 ml makes 53 × 700 ml or 50 × 750 ml, a total of 37.5 litres. Dosage and instructions are given on the label.
