Alcohol Meter 0-100% with Thermometer and Correction Scale, 25 cm
An alcohol meter is only accurate at a certain temperature, usually 20C, which the spirit never exactly maintains.
The thermometer with correction scale allows for precise measurement of the alcohol content.
The alcohol meter is a float. The spirit is poured into any container, for example, a bottle. The most common is a 100 ml measuring glass for 25 cm long meters.
Lower the meter into the spirit and read the alcohol content at the surface. Then look at the thermometer. Next to the temperature column, there is a correction scale showing + or + percent. Adjust the measurement result with this.
The meter shows exactly right at 20C, hence the need for correction if you want to know the strength of the alcohol.
