Pipe Base for 40 mm Plastic Pipe, with Strainer

Includes a sieve to secure the charcoal. You can easily trim a 40 mm round filter paper to prevent any charcoal dust from passing through.

Can be utilized at both ends of the pipe for clever constructions to filter from the bottom up through self-pressure. One end of the pipe has a smaller opening where an 8mm x 11mm hose fits on the outlet.

NOTE! The pipe bottom may be challenging to fit onto the 40 mm pipe, and it can be helpful to soak the pipe bottom in warm water for a few minutes. Alternatively, a heat gun can be used to gently warm the edges of the pipe bottom. The pipe bottom is then "screwed" onto the 40 mm pipe.
