Special yeast for fermenting molasses. Molasses contains a high amount of "solids," non-fermentable sugars that generate significant osmotic pressure during fermentation. As such, molasses is the most difficult substance to ferment, often only achieving 7% alcohol. This yeast, however, can reach a significantly higher level, 12%. Black label Turbo can reach 13% with molasses.
